Branding

Functional Art Store commissioned Milestones Marketing with the exciting tasks of branding + website copy + product descriptions + social media copy.

The online store launched in 2021 with a vision for a witty, not-too-serious tone of voice, eye-catching copy, and a bold mission statement and elevator pitch.

I teamed up with the founder to make his vision a reality. The result is an approachable, bad*ss brand that sells custom, laser-cut, stainless steel products.

Press Releases

I've written press releases for a number of businesses. One day, a communications agency noticed my work and hired me to write press releases for their clients.

Sand People Communications is a Swiss-based, traditional + digital public relations agency for yachting, lifestyle, design, and finance media.

I write press releases for a variety of their clients by incorporating research, interviews, and newsworthy information.

Product Descriptions

Product descriptions are fun to write — especially when it's for a tour booking platform that sells adventurous experiences.

I work with a booking platform based in Australia called Travello (formerly Backpacker Deals) by writing content for their tours.

The goal of each tour description is to encourage customers to book memorable travel experiences at an affordable price. As a traveler myself, this project is especially rewarding as I'm excited to help others see the world.

Website Copy

Milestones Marketing teamed up with Tamarind Consolidated, a small business that provides shipping from the United States to the British Virgin Islands.

In a one-off project, the owner commissioned me to write copy for 5 pages of his website.

The goal was to clearly communicate Tamarind's business services and shipping instructions for customers. All while optimizing each page for SEO.

Email Copy

Email copy should be relatable (IMO). So newsletters are particularly fun to write.

Teavision, an Australian wholesale tea company, commissioned me to refresh and elevate the copy for its monthly, B2B newsletter.

I wrote copy with a casual tone of voice while sharing the company’s news, updates, and blog posts (also written by me!) with an established audience. A great opportunity for Teavision to build and nurture its community.

Social media

Most of my job requires being on social media for the better half of the day. Whether sourcing UGC or keeping up with trends, I understand how to write copy that caters to a (your) specific audience.

I work with Sirenis Resorts through NM+U Marketing Communications Agency to write social media copy for their platforms. I do my research to understand the audience and the brand so that the copy resonates with their loyal following. As someone who's constantly scrolling, I know what ticks, what icks, and what falls flat.

Please note, I don't do social media strategy (but I know a great agency that does). I strictly come up with words or source UGC to give you a complete stack of posts that are yours to schedule and distribute.
